Senior Accountant – US Accounting Operations
Mid-Level | 2–5 Years PQE | Fully Remote (India) | 1.30 PM –10 PM IST
At Flexcar, we're disrupting a century-old industry by reimagining car ownership from the ground up. We've built the world's first month-to-month car lease platform. No down payment, no multi-year contracts, no BS. We give customers the freedom to drive what they want, when they want, with insurance and maintenance included. We're offering a better way to own a car.
Operating in multiple markets with aggressive expansion plans, we’re looking for experienced engineers who see data, infrastructure, and security as foundational, and who believe that great platforms make engineers more efficient by eliminating unnecessary complexity. You won't just be building infrastructure; you'll be a true partner to engineering.
About the Role
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to play a hands-on role in our accounting and help the company scale the function. This is a US-facing role — you will work directly with our US-based Controller, auditors, and vendors, and be expected to operate with the rigor and cut-off discipline of a US GAAP environment.
This is a fully remote position open to qualified CAs based anywhere in India. Working hours are 1.30 PM to 10 PM IST to ensure meaningful overlap with the US Eastern Time zone. Extended overlap may be required during close weeks.
The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, hands-on NetSuite experience, and a solid grounding in US GAAP. Beyond close execution, you will own balance sheet reconciliations across several areas, lead audit interactions for your scope, drive process and systems improvements, and assist the Controller with Accounts Payable — the kind of well-rounded, high-ownership work that makes this role a genuine growth opportunity for an ambitious CA.
