Job Overview: 

 
The HR Coordinator / Junior Recruiter will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment process, coordinating HR operations, and assisting in day-to-day HR activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources and recruitment within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a passion for talent acquisition and employee development. 

What You'll Do: 

Recruitment Support: 

  • Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews. 

  • Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit. 

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process. 

  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and update candidate status. 

HR Administration: 

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining HR-related documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and employee records. 

  • Manage HR inquiries and provide support to employees regarding benefits, policies, and general HR-related questions. 

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating orientation schedules. 

Employer Branding & Sourcing: 

  • Help create and post engaging job advertisements across various job boards and social media platforms. 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining a strong employer brand by contributing to outreach efforts and building a positive candidate experience. 

Employee Engagement & Retention: 

  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture. 

  • Track employee feedback and assist in identifying areas for improvement in HR processes. 

     HR Reporting & Metrics: 

  • Maintain and update recruitment reports, tracking key metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate feedback. 

  • Assist in preparing HR-related data for internal and external reporting purposes. 


What Drives Success for this Role: 

     Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 

     Experience: 

  • 2-4 years recruiting experience and 1-2 years HR experience 

     Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus. 

  • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 

  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is desirable but not required. 

  • Positive attitude, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the HR field. 

  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
